Diary Day – October

The day kicks off early as I need to get to Womersley to my first call. I’m booked in to sedate for a dentist and when I arrive on the yard I’m pleased to see it’s Robin Earnshaw. I have a lot of respect for Robin as a dentist and he’s also a member of the British Association of Equine Dental Technicians (BAEDT).

This week I had a message from a face-book follower that had managed to secure herself a place at Edinburgh University to study to be a vet! I was thrilled for her!

September Diary Day

My alarm goes off at 6.45am and I get up, leaving susie in bed, usually on her back with her paws in the air in the middle of a very exciting doggy dream.

Choke! So last weekend I saw my third case of choke in a week! All 3 cases exactly the same, horses had been given some food after exercise as a ‘thank you’ for working hard.
