Spring Client Talk - Lameness

Our hugely anticipated spring client talk is now just around the corner - Tuesday 31st March 2020 will be an evening of all things lameness!

We will be covering during the evening the different causes of acute lameness such as fractures, tendon injuries and joint infections and the different causes of chronic lameness such as arthritis, navicular, tendon and ligament injuries and other causes.

We aim to give you an idea as to how we as vets approach a lame horse and describe to you what a lameness work up actually involves. Including what nerve blocks are and why we use them, when we decide to X-ray or Ultrasound and when and why we might refer your horse.

There will be something for everyone, from a complete novice to the experienced horse owner and plenty of opportunities to spend time with the vets asking questions.

The talk is open to everyone and free to attend, we just ask that you reserve your place via the office as places are limited.

The talk is on Tuesday 31st March 2020 6.30-9pm. Darrington Golf Club, Pontefract, WF8 3BP.
