All of the team at Ridings Equine Vets have owned horses so we know how special they are. We also know they can be expensive and it can sometimes be difficult to budget wisely for your horse's healthcare. We think we have come up with a solution to help you spread the cost of your horse's routine healthcare into affordable monthly payments. There are two different plans to choose from depending on the level of care your horse needs. There are lots of additional benefits from joining one of the health plans too and these are listed below for each plan..

Our Health Plans are not designed to replace insurance and we always recommend you take out insurance to help cover the cost of unexpected emergencies. The health plan will offer you peace of mind that your horse's routine care is covered and you can spread the cost instead of getting big bills during the year. We’ll take the effort out of remembering when your horse is due their vaccination or dental and remind you throughout the year when your worm egg counts are due. Plus we’ll send you your annual wormer at the right time according to your individual situation.

  • 1 x annual flu/ tetanus booster and annual health check (heart, eyes, lungs, skin)**

With any plan you will also receive:
Sedation for dental examinations or substitute for us sedating for your EDT
Annual worming plan including 4 worm egg counts
Unlimited use of the REV weighbridge
10% off long term medications (pergolide, non steroidal anti inflammatories)
5% off additional veterinary professional fees and supplements
10% discount for subsequent horses joining a health plan
Insurance admin paperwork at no extra charge

*Visits are on zone days otherwise an additional £30 supplement applies **Health checks are performed alongside vaccinations *** Dental exam includes sedation. Can be substituted for sedation for a qualified EDT. Only routine dental work is covered on the plans. If you cancel your plan at any time other than the anniversary of joining the plan you will be required to continue monthly payments until the end of your plan or pay any outstanding amounts for treatment received on the plan.
